Serendipity is from the beautiful country of Denmark. This Danish infant & children’s wear brand is committed to using only the purest natural materials offered – Organic Cotton, Linen, Silk & Wool. Natural materials are the essence of Serendipity quality.
The name Serendipity is a play on words from the Latin ‘Serena’, meaning pure and clear. Also, Serendipity is an American expression used when your on a stroke of luck and find something exceptional. That is the experience Serendipity wants to give its customers. “It is very important to Serendipity that their clothes are based on both fun design and deliciously soft.
Serendipity employs low-impact dyes, and still obtains colorful and fashionable designs still with respect for nature and our children’s skin. All Serendipity cotton styles are made from 100% organic cotton yarns that is Control Union certified (previously SKAL).
Most of Serendipity's woven fabrics are also fully Control Union certified. In addition, all their knitted garments (rib, jersey, and velour), broderie anglaise and corduroy are also Fair Trade certified (SA 8000) and Control Union (SKAL) certified in full finish.
All Serendipity cotton styles are produced in India, where the certified organic cotton they use is also grown. This means the entire production from growth of cotton and production of textiles to the finished style is produced in one area to avoid excess transportation. |
