The greenEARTH sleigh cradle is made in the U.S.A. from domestic hardwoods and Arreis, which is a green, formaldehyde free MDF. The woods are harvested from naturally sustained forests and production is in a facility that recycles its own waste into energy and holds a number of third-party certifications that monitor their green manufacturing claims. The cradles contain no formaldehyde or VOCs and are finished with non-toxic, water based products that do not release chemicals into the air (no out gassing!). Even the shipping carton is made from recycled materials.
